QUICK ANSWER

Mistfall Hunter Solo Mode

You can enter current online PvPvE alone now. A dedicated Brandrgarde Solo Mode is planned for September 2026, while pure PvE remains in development without a release date.

CURRENT, PLANNED, IN DEVELOPMENT

Three Different Meanings

Playable alone now

Current Steam, PlayStation, and Xbox descriptions say players can go solo instead of forming a three-player squad. This changes the size of your own party. It does not remove rival players, environmental enemies, or the online requirement.

Brandrgarde Solo planned

The official roadmap places a dedicated Brandrgarde Solo Mode for Normal and Cataclysm in mid-Season 1, with a September 2026 target. That is a plan, not a feature confirmed live on August 11.

Pure PvE in development PvE

A July 10 developer answer said pure PvE was in development and would take time. It gave no release date. A player route that avoids fights is not proof that a PvE-only queue exists.

CURRENT SOLO PLAY

What Changes When You Enter Alone

Your squad has one player, so every heal, escape, interaction, and extraction decision is your own responsibility. The world remains PvPvE. Product descriptions mention rival hunting parties, and there is no current official offline-mode announcement. Do not interpret “go solo” as a guarantee that every other player is also alone or that the run contains only AI.

Prepare a replaceable kit, choose one primary objective, keep a second route away from noisy contact, reserve the resources needed to return, and leave when the bag already pays for the run. Avoiding an unnecessary fight is a strategy inside PvPvE; it does not change the matchmaking mode.

The final rules for the planned Brandrgarde mode—player population, AI composition, rewards, gear restrictions, entry requirements, and extraction rules—must wait for the launch patch. The roadmap target can move.
