Collect Useful Currency, Not Every Corpse

Enemies carrying Gildenblood can show a floating golden effect over the body. That matters when a room is noisy or another hunter may be close. You do not need to open every corpse just to discover that it has nothing you need. Scan first, take the obvious value, and keep moving.

Your container has a limit, so “pick up everything forever” is not a plan. Early on, aim to return with a healthy amount whenever the route is calm. If filling the last part would require another dangerous room, the almost-full container is already useful. The currency only helps after you extract.

Choose Camp Upgrades That Improve Future Runs

Camp screens can make everything look equally urgent. It is not. Start with the station that increases the amount of Gildenblood you can carry, because that benefit follows you into every successful extraction. After that, look at healing, pre-run bonuses, passive production, and crafting based on the problem that is actually slowing you down.

• Gildenblood capacity: useful when you regularly hit the container limit before you are ready to leave.
• Goddess Statue: useful when limited healing is ending otherwise recoverable runs.
• Tavern: useful after you understand which affixes support your class and route.
• Soulcatch Tree: useful for building a steadier passive resource flow between runs.
• Workshop and forge: useful when you are ready to craft equipment or gems instead of relying only on random drops.

Do not copy that order blindly. If your container is never full because you die in the first fight, more capacity will not solve the immediate problem. Improve survival first, then return to economy upgrades.

Make the Game Show You What You Need

Before the next run, open the camp stations you care about and mark the missing construction or crafting materials as favorites. The marker follows those resources into the match, turning a confusing pile of names into a visible shopping list.

This changes looting from “take every colored object” into a decision. A marked green material may be more useful than an unmarked purple item if the green material finishes an upgrade. When your bag fills, protect items that serve the current goal and replace low-priority clutter first.

Keep the list short. Marking half the game creates the same confusion as marking nothing. Choose one camp upgrade, one crafting target, or one brew you want to prepare, then let that goal guide the run.

Use the Market Before Dumping Everything at the Shop

The quick vendor is convenient, but convenience can hide value. Before selling construction materials, crafting ingredients, gems, or useful equipment, check whether other players are buying them through the auction house. Early in a progression cycle, ordinary upgrade materials can be more desirable than their color suggests.

That does not mean every item belongs on the market. Compare the likely return with the listing effort and available slots. Sell easy, low-value clutter quickly when you need space. List items with clear player demand. Keep what supports your next upgrade. This three-way decision is more useful than treating the entire warehouse as a museum.

PREPARE FOR THE BORING PROBLEMS

Restock Healing, Keys, and Build Pieces Before You Queue

Successful players do not only prepare the exciting parts of a build. They keep enough basic healing for the next failure, store useful keys safely, and understand how their main affixes are assembled across gear, gems, and pre-run drinks.

Buy or save routine healing while it is affordable instead of waiting until a death leaves the warehouse empty. Put relevant keys on the protected keychain rather than risking them loose in the backpack. When experimenting with affixes, choose one priority effect and build around it; spreading small bonuses across everything can make the loadout feel busy without giving it a clear strength.

Victory Wine values and effective combinations can change. Treat any specific combination as an example of how pieces interact, not as a permanent shopping order. Read the current in-game descriptions before spending scarce materials.

INFORMATION SAVES MORE THAN ARMOR

Read the Fight Before You Commit

Some marked enemies protect valuable containers. Interacting with a locked chest can help point you toward a remaining guard, which is useful when one target is hiding behind the room geometry. Certain enemies can also have breakable parts or special loot interactions. These are worth learning, but only after the room is safe enough to stop and experiment.

Against players, use visible class and gear information as a warning, not a verdict. Better equipment can raise the risk, but it does not tell you whether the opponent is alone, injured, skilled, or baiting you toward a team. If the fight does not serve the run's goal, knowing more about the enemy should make it easier to leave—not tempt you into proving something.

Quest progress belongs in the same mental map. Keep one useful objective active while collecting the materials for a camp upgrade. That gives the run two ways to create progress even when the loot is ordinary.
