Prepare for Interactions and Escape, Not a Tournament Fight

Shadowstrix fits this route because stealth helps, but speed is the bigger idea: clear weak PvE quickly, finish an interaction before a team arrives, and leave a bad angle before it closes.

A modest blue kit with Deft for interaction speed can shorten looting, doors, objectives, and extraction actions. Treat the exact equipment value as a snapshot, not a requirement. If the current version changes entry limits or affix values, rebuild the same purpose with current items.

Practice the class on a calmer difficulty if you do not know which weapon holds stealth, which skill moves farthest, or how long the important cooldowns last. A high-speed character is only safe when you know where the speed button takes you.

Build a Chain That Survives the Next Door

Choose talents that let interactions continue without immediately breaking stealth, remove weak PvE enemies quickly, and make doorways uncomfortable for pursuers. Keep movement tools across both weapon sets so one cooldown does not decide the entire chase.

• First layer: hear the squad early and change direction before they see you.
• Second layer: use stealth or a visual break to make them guess.
• Third layer: cross a long piece of space with a dash or teleport.
• Fourth layer: block or punish the doorway they must use to follow.
• Last layer: keep one movement option for the next room instead of celebrating too early.

Keys, silence tools, mimic tools, or another class's defensive skills can replace parts of this chain. The important thing is to know what each item is supposed to do before the chase starts.

LOUD LOOT IS NOT ALWAYS BETTER LOOT

Take the Best Opportunity Near Your Spawn

At the start, check whether an elite task is close enough to contest without crossing the map. Tasks can reward a solo player with loot sized for a team, which makes them attractive—but also obvious. If you miss the best task, do not treat the run as failed. Take another objective, a safer chest, or the containers along the route.

Ordinary containers can be excellent in a high-loot mode. They create less sound, require no elite fight, and cause less chip damage. A trio may divide that loot three ways; a solo player keeps the useful pieces.

Use purple chest fights only when the enemies and exits make sense. If the guards are dangerous or player sound is approaching, abandon the chest. A locked reward is not your property, and walking away costs less than dying beside it.

Read What Changed While You Were Looting

Listen before opening a long container. Watch whether tasks disappear, whether a route suddenly goes quiet, and whether an area that should have enemies has already been cleared. None of those clues proves where a team is, but together they tell you where not to linger.

When moving through rooms, avoid backing into a single-exit corner. High movement speed does not matter if the only door is now occupied. Cross spaces with two possible exits, close doors behind you when useful, and remember the direction you came from.

Working around the edge as the match develops can reduce the number of directions from which a squad appears and may make later extraction options easier to watch. It also creates mist risk, so do not take that position without understanding current damage and healing.

A FULL BAG NEEDS A WAY HOME

Treat Extraction Resources as Priority Loot

Do not wait until the final minute to think about leaving. If you find a current extraction resource or opportunity during a safe part of the run, seriously consider taking it before adding more value. Once a way home is secured, every later decision becomes optional.

That does not make the rest of the match safe. Keep the extraction resource protected, continue listening, and avoid using it in sight of a team. Overconfidence at the final step can waste an otherwise successful run. The route is not complete when you see the exit; it is complete when the return finishes.

If no extraction option is available, move toward areas where you can monitor one without exposing yourself. Keep healing and at least one escape layer for the interaction itself.

OVERCONFIDENCE BREAKS GOOD ROUTES

Avoid Turning a Working Farm Into a Challenge Run

A strong extraction pattern does not make the method foolproof. Stealth can expire. A door can lead nowhere. Another fast solo player can predict the same route. A team can wait at an objective instead of chasing.

Do not attack a trio because the first escape worked. Do not perform a long interaction in front of players because the build has extra interaction speed. Do not stay for one more container after the bag already meets the goal. The method survives by refusing unnecessary tests.

After each failure, identify which layer broke: late information, bad room choice, wasted cooldown, noisy objective, or greedy extraction. Fix that decision before spending more on gear.
